Edipsos

Edipsos is situated in Northern Evia and is the most famous spa city of Greece, with easy access - only 2.5 hours far from Athens by car – from many directions. Evia is the second largest and at the same time the nearest island to Athens, the capital city of Greece, with which it is accessible through the street and seaway connection. Especially the northern part of the island is full of beautiful places – a green canvass in a blue frame, dense forests of pine-trees, almost untraded mountains, virgin beaches, villages uninfluenced by tourism – it could easily be an ecological prototype area. The area has a lot to offer: the culture of Limni, the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Edipsos for healing relaxation, the medieval inheritance, its rich history and marvellous vegetation touching the blue waters in virgin clean beaches, contrite stops in historical monasteries, beautiful routes by car or on foot. Northern Evia is a destination for aware and environmentally conscious travellers like you. The region of Edipsos does not only offer spa bath therapy, but also various possibilities for activity such as mountain walks, scuba diving, sailing, mountain hiking, cycling. For more information please visit the menu life style in our website. If you are coming from Athens, we suggest you to follow the highway route through Αrkitsa with the ferry-boat (at the 150th Km of the National Highway from Athens to Lamia). Alternatively you can come through Chalkida by car (a distance of ca. 230 Km.) where you can enjoy a wonderful drive through mountains full of forests and green valleys. If you are coming from Northern or Central Greece, we suggest you to come through the port of Glyfa with the ferry-boat (90th Km on the Highway from Larissa to Athens).
